Crossporting Guide for CM12.1/13 Roms (MT6592 to MT6582)

Hello Guys,
Today i am going to teach you how to simply cross port 5.1.1/6.0.1/CM12.1/CM13 (3.4.67 Kernel) roms to your kitkat 3.4.67 kernel MT6582 device.

1st of all make 2 separate folders as PORT & BASE for easy understanding ....... & put rom (MT6592) to port in PORT folder & ur device previous CM rom (MT6582) in BASE folder. extract (unzip) them.

Steps -
1. Open PORT/system/etc/ & delete firmware folder......... & then copy firmware folder from BASE rom & paste it in the PORT/system/etc/

2. Open BASE/system/etc/ & copy these files -
         audio_effects.conf
         audio_policy.conf
         media_codecs (all files starting from media_codecs)
& Paste them in the PORT/system/etc/ (replace them).

3. Open BASE/system/bin/ & copy all the files inside bin folder & paste them in the PORT/system/bin/ (replace them).

4. Open PORT/system/lib/ & delete soundfx, hw folder
Open BASE/system/lib/ & copy soundfx, hw folder
Paste them in PORT/system/lib/

5. Open BASE/system/lib/ & copy all the lib files except

         libandroid_runtime.so

         libandroid_servers.so

         libandroidfw.so

         libjava (all files starting from libjava)

         libweb (all files starting from libweb)

 Paste them in the PORT/system/lib/ (replace them).

6. Open BASE/system/ & copy vendor folder
Paste it in PORT/system/ (replace it).

7. Open BASE/system/xbin/ & copy libmnlp_mt6582
Paste it in PORT/system/xbin/ 

8. Copy Boot.img from BASE to PORT

9. Open PORT/system & open build.prop with notepad++
Search for this 2 lines -
ro.sf.lcd_density=
ro.sf.hwrotation=
change values as it has in ur BASE buid.prop file (for example - ro.sf.lcd_density=220 & ro.sf.hwrotation=0)............... if ro.sf.hwrotation=0 line is not present then add it in the build.prop
You can also change device name in the build.prop file

10. Done.................... make a zip of the PORT rom & flash through recovery..................... enjoy..................
